Pink Boat — Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Pink Boat. By booking, boarding, or participating in any Pink Boat experience, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

These Terms apply to all bookings, guests, passengers, and participants.

Booking & Payments

A deposit is required to secure your reservation date and time. Reservations are not confirmed until payment has been successfully received.

The remaining balance is collected on the day of the experience unless otherwise agreed in writing. Reservations are not held without payment.

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Pink Boat reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking prior to confirmation.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We want to work with you if plans change. Please review the following terms carefully before completing your booking.

To secure a reservation, guests are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of $100 CAD at the time of booking. The remaining balance is collected on the day of the experience.

The deposit is non-refundable in all cases, including change of plans, scheduling conflicts, or personal circumstances. No refunds are issued under any circumstances for guest-initiated cancellations.

Rescheduling is available in the following cases:

Guests who notify Pink Boat at least 21 days before the scheduled departure may reschedule once to a future available date at no additional charge. The new date must fall within 12 months of the original booking date.

Where Pink Boat cancels or modifies a departure due to weather, safety conditions, or mechanical issues, guests will be notified as early as reasonably possible and will be offered a reschedule to a future available date at no charge.

Can't make it at all? Your booking credit is fully transferable — you may pass it to a friend or any other person. Simply notify Pink Boat in writing with the new guest's name and contact information before the scheduled departure.

No-shows, missed departures, and late arrivals forfeit the deposit with no reschedule or transfer option.

All cancellation and reschedule requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Requests are effective from the time of confirmed receipt. Notice periods are calculated from the scheduled departure time.

Bookings confirmed with a $200 CAD deposit remain subject to the cancellation and rescheduling terms in effect at the time of booking.

By completing a booking, guests acknowledge and agree to this cancellation and rescheduling policy.

Weather Policy

Pink Boat operates in most weather conditions, including light rain, overcast skies, and typical Vancouver marine weather.

Safety decisions are made at the sole discretion of the operator, captain, or management.

If conditions are considered unsafe due to factors including but not limited to high winds, storms, smoke conditions, marine advisories, unsafe water conditions, visibility concerns, mechanical issues, or other safety concerns, Pink Boat may delay, modify, shorten, or cancel the booking.

Where a departure is cancelled by Pink Boat due to unsafe conditions, guests will be offered a reschedule to a future available date at no charge, or may transfer their booking credit to another person, in accordance with the Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy above.

Cloudy weather, light rain, cooler temperatures, or changes in forecast do not qualify for cancellation or rescheduling.

Swimming & Water Activities

Swimming is permitted only when authorized by the captain or operator and when conditions are considered safe.

No person may enter the water while the engine is running, in gear, or when instructed otherwise.

Participation in any water activity is entirely at the participant’s own risk.

Personal Belongings

Guests are solely responsible for their personal belongings at all times.

Pink Boat is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or water-exposed items, including items affected by marine or weather conditions, such as phones, cameras, jewellery, bags, clothing, or other valuables.

Marine environments involve inherent risks of water exposure and item loss.

Vessel Amenities & Connectivity

Onboard amenities may vary depending on vessel setup, weather, operational requirements, or maintenance.

Cellular reception, mobile data, WiFi, Bluetooth connectivity, and streaming quality may be limited or unavailable in certain marine areas.

The onboard restroom, if available, is limited in size and intended primarily for emergency or occasional use.

Damage to Vessel

The booking party may be financially responsible for excessive cleaning, intentional damage, missing equipment, or damage caused by negligence or misconduct by any guest in their group.

Repair, replacement, cleaning, towing, recovery, or administrative costs may be charged accordingly.

Route & Operating Area

All charters operate within Burrard Inlet, British Columbia, and surrounding approved operating areas only.

Routes, destinations, stops, and timing may change due to weather, marine traffic, safety conditions, regulations, or operational requirements.

Pink Boat does not guarantee specific wildlife sightings, sunset conditions, water conditions, or exact routes.

Photography & Social Media

Pink Boat may capture general atmosphere photos or videos during experiences for promotional or social media purposes.

Guests who prefer not to appear in media content should notify the operator before departure.

Commercial shoots, influencer campaigns, branded productions, or professional media projects may require prior written approval.

Liability Waiver

Boating and marine activities involve inherent risks, including injury, property damage, changing weather conditions, drowning, collision, slipping, falling, and other marine hazards.

Guests may be required to sign a separate Passenger Liability Waiver before boarding. Refusal to sign required waivers may result in denied boarding without refund.

By booking or participating in a Pink Boat experience, guests acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks.

To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of British Columbia, Pink Boat, its owners, operators, captains, contractors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable, including liability arising from negligence to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, for personal injury, death, property damage, delays, weather-related interruptions, marine conditions, third-party actions, or events outside reasonable control.

Force Majeure

Pink Boat shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, interruptions, or inability to perform services due to causes beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, wildfire smoke, government restrictions, emergencies, mechanical failures, marine advisories, labour disruptions, transportation interruptions, utility outages, or acts of God.

In such cases, guests will be offered a reschedule to a future available date or may transfer their booking credit to another person, in accordance with the Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy above.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking, submitting payment, boarding the vessel, or participating in any Pink Boat experience, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
